Brian LeBlanc
Chief Technical Officer
Brian LeBlanc assisted his parents Steve and Janet Holzman in building Colonial Electronic Manufacturers in 1992. In the early stages
of the company Brian broadened the core offerings of CEM by creating a Surface Mount Division. Today, it has grown into multiple
automated assembly lines, SMT repair services, ECO rework services, and inspection services that include X-ray, and Automated
Optical Inspection.
Brian is responsible for finding specific solutions to individual customer requirements, and developing technical processes that
are used by the employees to perform their tasks. Brian is also heavily involved with teaching customers the advantages of
incorporating Design For Manufacture (DFM) into their product process to help control cost, improve quality, and shorten
manufacturing times.
Brian began with a strong electrical & mechanical background that stems from his years as a local volunteer Fire Fighter & EMT.
Prior to CEM he was responsible for the electrical, hydraulic, and diesel maintenance and repairs for the local Rescue Squad vehicles
and Fire Department trucks, as well as serving the community in the traditional Fire Fighter / EMT role.
