One of the First New England EMS Companies to Earn Status for its Commitment to Quality
Nashua, N.H., July 14, 2009 - Colonial Electronic Manufacturers, Inc. (CEM), a leading New England Electronic Manufacturing Service company,
today announced it has successfully completed an audit resulting in the upgrade of its ISO 9001:2000 certification to the new ISO9001:2008
standard for its commitment to quality.
CEM offers Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, Radio Frequency (RF) assembly/testing, and Rework/Engineering Change Order (ECO) services including lead-free assembly, full turnkey, and flexible consignment options.
ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems and is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization. It is administered by accreditation and certification bodies like United Registrar Services, LLC who verified CEM's compliance and ability to consistently provide products that meet customer specification, satisfaction and applicable regulatory requirements.
